A large-scale collaboration among Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture under the supervision of Professor Remo Pedreschi, Concrete Scotland (CS) and Royal Botanic Gardens (RBGE), Inverkeithing High School and Queensferry Community High School. I assisted in the production of the work during a series of hands-on workshops at the Architectural Research Workshop of ESALA, University of Edinburgh, in which High School students worked with academic staff, technical staff and postgraduate student tutors in order to realize their design ideas into concrete through techniques of fabric formwork, digital fabrication, laser cutting and casting.
More details on this project can be found at Rethinking Concrete Formwork and Edinburgh Gateway.
