Listening to Climate Change: The Role of Sound and New Media Formats for Enhancing Environmental Perception is a research project funded with an Individual Grant by the Postdoc Network Brandenburg that investigates the creative potential of sound and new media formats for establishing a direct immersive and affective connection between humans and the ecological impacts of climate change. The project was from September 2022 to August 2024 at Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and was based in the Creative Exchange Studio (CX Studio). Outputs include research seminars and workshops, a chapter in an edited volume, conference presentations, sound pieces, and an interactive web application ClimaSynth developed in collaboration with Bela Usabaev.
