Description
'Preserve' (2020) explores our relationship with environment histories. Resin is cast into lead and both elements, the matrix and the product, are presented together attached to each other. Both materials change after the process of casting as the synthetic resin takes formal characteristics of the weathered lead sheets. This work reflects on the impacts of plastics interactions with other materials across different density, composition and state.
